About The Company
Powertech Incorporated was established in 1994, under the aegis of Mr. Mohammad Ali Ghandour. The corporation was created against the background of market demand for the supply of electricity for Industrial and Residential usage. The concept to establish this line of business was initiated and implemented by Mr. Mohamad Ali Ghandour, when in October, 1992 it became evident that the Liberia Electricity Corporation could not adequately address the electrical power needs of the country.
With over 45years familiarity with the Liberian Market, it allowed him the opportunity to build and develop a viable entity that has an enviable reputation for the supply of a wide range of power generators on the Liberian market. In addition to the supply of high quality generators, Powertech also provides a sustainable flow of products, backed by Spare Parts and other Technical and Manpower Support.
Powertech Inc. has succeeded in meeting market demands for quality and durable products. Moreover, we also maintain a large inventory of various sizes of Power Generators to support prompt delivery on demand. Some of our customers include, NGO's, Embassies, including Diplomatic residences, The Government of Liberia, Private Businesses and Private Residences etc. Including the Liberia Electricity Corporation, to whom we supplied and installed 5 Units of 7.5Mega Watts Power Generators.
In 1998, Powertech Inc. started its V-Sat & telecommunication business & was the first company to import & install V-Sat terminals in Liberia. Our goal is to provide the best services, latest technologies, competitive pricing & a reliable after sales service achieved by highly skilled professionals.
Powertech has become a leader in it's field and this has been achieved by the continuous support, expertise and commitment from Powertech's strategic partners whom have been main global players in this industry, and have deployed thousands of V-Sat terminals, wired and wireless networks, security solutions and telecommunication solution to many different industries.
In 2000 and 2002, Powertech Inc. further expanded its line of business to add GAS and Home Appliances to its line of products and is now the lead importer and distributor of LPG Gas for cooking and industrial purpose. We are the only company having a stock capacity with 200 metric ton, and a stock of 12000 empty gas cylinders. Powertech Inc. offers a wide range of home appliances including Air-conditioning systems, refrigeration systems, stoves and many other products from well reputed brands.
